On 9th January, Leicester Tigers narrowly beat Northampton Saints, and Miracle Design and Play and Carrier Landscapes were both present along with a few specially invited guests to cheer on their respective teams. Despite the result not going Northampton’s way, an enjoyable day was had by all!
Following the success of last years mince pie taste-off, Miracle’s festive feasting returns with Christmas Puddings! Despite a less than enthusiastic response from some members of the team, everyone got stuck in tasting and rating a wide range of puddings, washed down with copiuos quantities of custard. Once again, a surprise result – with Tesco’s standard range pudding seeing off the likes of M&S and the Mighty Mr Blumenthal at Waitrose.
Miracle look forward to continuing their national relationship with Taylor Wimpey making sure their public open spaces are a facility home owners can be proud of.

Miracle Design and Play Ltd have been selected, with the support of Groundwork, the UK’s leading environmental regeneration
charity and of course some of the nations’ favourite soft drinks in the Transform your Patch campaign, to transform a special play area at Woodgrange, Southend. At the site in Southend, Transform Your Patch funding will support the transformation of the space into a new and vibrant play area aimed at 5-10 year olds.
Miracle’s Operations Director, Daniel Buckley was on hand to meet celebrity ambassador Denise van Outen, who is supporting the playground projects, at the site and to talk her through the planned improvements. Daniel commented “It is a great opportunity to improve a neglected area, and it has all been made possible thanks to the Transform your patch funding. Denise was really interested to learn of the new developments, particularly as she has a young family of her own so understood the demands on parents and guardians to provide fun and exciting facilities for the children to enjoy.”
There are other projects all over the UK, from Portsmouth all the way up to Cardiff and Dundee. With celebrity ambassadors representing each type of project, so every time you vote for your patch you’re also voting for a celebrity and their project type. Denise van Outen is supporting the playground projects, with the celebrity with the most votes will win £100,000 to spread across their project type. The money will be used on the projects themselves as well as in the region to make sure communities get as much fun as they possibly can out of their transformed patch.
Construction on-site should commence in November 2012, and is anticipated to be completed by December 2012.
