JUNIOR DESIGNER VACANCY

Owing to business growth Miracle Design and Play wish to recruit a Designer to produce our bespoke play solutions for our various clients across the UK and Europe.

You will be joining an established UK organisation with the back-up of a dedicated internal sales, technical support and design team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Working in conjunction with the UK sales and support team, turning their design briefs and requests into exciting and innovative designs proposals.
  • Accurately costing design requests using our bespoke CRM project management system
  • Produce 3D visuals and graphical illustrations for our clients.
  • Formalise and prepare tender documents for submission to clients.
  • Produce technical specifications to guide our installation teams whilst on-site.
  • Produce marketing material and product literature.

Person Specification:

  • We require a driven individual with a can do attitude, they will also need a creative eye, to be a team player and have a flexible approach to their work.
  • The successful candidate should have CAD experience, preferably AUTOCAD and 3DS Max or similar, but not essential as full on the job training will be provided.
  • This role incorporates compilation of quotes, therefore numeracy and accuracy would be considered essential skills.
  • Experience of play area design and the associated safety standards would be advantageous, but full training can be provided so not essential.

Job Vacancy: Maintenance & Inspection Engineer

Miracle Design & Play Ltd wish to recruit a Maintenance & Inspection Engineer with experience within the playground industry. We offer the opportunity to join an established UK organisation as part of a dedicated technical support and project management team, focusing on delivering ongoing play area maintenance and repairs on time and within budget. The role will be based from our offices in Northampton.

Job Responsibilities

The Role:

Our Engineers will work nationally and be responsible for scheduled play area repairs and inspections to Play Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide regular operational inspections to our existing customer base
  • To conduct operational inspections, risk assessments as specified in BSEN1176.
  • Completing inspection reports in a timely manner, following an inspection
  • Undertaking general play area maintenance, which involves metal, woodworking, painting and welding, if necessary. Surfacing repair experience would also be advantageous.

 Key Competencies/Qualifications:

  • Good fitting or assembly type skills, preferably in a maintenance environment as well as welding experience is desirable
  • Understanding of costs and time required to undertake remedial works
  • A problem solver with good customer service and communication skills
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • A self-motivated individual who continually keeps abreast of industry and safety requirement changes
  • Ability to travel on a daily basis, so a full clean driving licence is required
  • RPII Operational inspection accreditation
